Well it looks like Percy enjoyed the fabulous Shirley Pipe Band this weekend! So did everyone!Shirley Pipe Band

On Saturday they opened a grand weekend with some regal sophistication and British festival spirit, marching through the high street in all their finery and playing some good old fashioned songs. They attracted an impressive crowd, who were clearly thrilled to enjoy a bit of class and tradition at the affair.

The beautiful sunshine continued through Saturday and so did the fun! The children enjoyed enchanting Stories under the pear tree at My Worcester Pop-Up Museum , with storyteller Cat Weatherill. The kids then channelled some creative energy into the crafty Pop-Up Museum. They were entertained furthermore by puppeteer Mary Baulk and all of her naughty friends in Butterfly Puppet Theatre!

Don’t forget kids, come to a Narrative Children’s Drawing Class, starting Monday in Friary Walk. It’s a great chance for you to let out your inner artist and have great fun learning to draw!

The grown ups can also get in on the arty action too with the Narrative Adult Drawing Classes!

We have another jam packed week left of amazing, entertaining activities and performances, so let’s make it a good one! Grab a brochure from one of our stewards and get in on the festival fun!

Especially do not miss the Sunday Fête at the Swan, with stalls, games, dancing, ice cream, bar, cakes, and refreshments, followed by Bank Holiday Monday’s evening of fireworks and magic to bring the festival to a close.
