Well Percy, you have been a busy old bird this week!
He’s been wandering around bothering all the Worcester Festivallers, doing all sorts of activities, from Duck Racing, to face painting, to arts and crafts and music!
We thoroughly enjoyed the St Richard’s Hospice Duck Race on Saturday, and we think Percy got on very well with the big duck! If you’d like to support St Richard’s Hospice more, plus have loads of fun enjoying live music and great food and drink, come down to the Fireworks event to celebrate the end of the festival.
There was mayhem in the high street this weekend! The Gugge 2000 Band kicked off the show and got everyone dancing. The 50-strong brass band played a lively and fun set getting us all the festival spirit. Then came the Rock Choir! The huge choir dazzled passers by with their lovely voices and impressive harmonies.
Just when you thought it was all over, and you were mooching off to climb up the Cathedral, or going to look at some paintings at the Narrative Exhibition…the flash mob appeared! The Rock Choir broke out into a wonderful rendition of Rather Be, with great dance moves and plenty of festival energy.
Percy has been all over the shop throughout this festival!
20 shops to be precise. Remember; you still need to find him in them to win a fab prize!
