Now that the firework dust has settled, we thought we’d reflect on #WorcFest2018! And what a brilliant festival it has been – from live music filling the high street on the first day to fireworks lighting up the night sky on the last. It’s been a fantastic year, full of things to see and do for everyone, and we can’t thank you enough for enjoying it with us.

So much has been happening over the city the last few weeks. There’s been a tower of giraffes, a paddling of ducks, fossils in the Cathedral and Fluffy the Woolly Mammoth in the Worcester City Museum & Art Gallery. The Swan Theatre has been busy, with concerts, films and a fête, whilst there was lots going on at Henry Sandon Hall too, with craft and singing workshops, drama and even a cracking ceilidh! You were able to travel back to the Marvellous Middle Ages at The Commandery and then look forward to Christmas with the launch of this year’s Swan Theatre Pantomime Maid Marian and the Merry Men in the High Street!

And what would the Worcester Festival be without the annual St Richard’s Hospice Fireworks as it’s grand finale? This year’s festival certainly went out with a bang, raising money for a fantastic charity.
