Whoa, where’s the time gone?! It’s August already and that means one thing – the award-winning Worcester Festival is on it’s way to town!

The Worcester Festival will consist of over two weeks of fun events and activities around Worcester, officially launching on Saturday 11th August – that means there’s only 10 days left to wait!

Want to know more about what will be going on this year? Well, there really is something for everyone with a wide range of eclectic events for all the family, with many events that are free.

Look out for Percy the Festival Peacock every day of the Festival out and about on his travels. Percy loves posing for photographs, so be sure to have your picture taken with him, whatever your age, and share your favourite #PercyPics with us on Facebook (@WorcesterFestival) & Twitter (@WorcFestival)! You’ll also spot Percy’s cheeky face in 20 shops in Crowngate for the Crowngate Percy Trail – pick up a form for this and other competitions and quizzes from the Box Office at Huntingdon Hall in Crowngate for your chance of winning a prize!

Keep an eye out for the Worcester Stands Tall Sculpture Trail where you’ll be able to discover exciting facts and places around Worcester whilst seeing a technicolour tower of gorgeous giraffe sculptures. Make sure to pick up your Worcester Festival Event Guide from the Box Office in Crowngate to ensure you have your trail map at the ready!

There’s plenty more going on in the city for you to enjoy, including live music from the Gugge 2000 band, discover something different at Worcester Cathedral, get your face painted by Funky Faces Face Painting, see a show at The Swan Theatre, plus so much more!

Take a look at our event guide here to see what other amazing things we have coming up!

See you soon!
