Can you believe it’s the final weekend of the Worcester Festival already? Time flies when you are having fun, and there is certainly still lots more fun to come!
Worcester Cathedral is hosting a Flower Power Day on Saturday, celebrating all blooms great and small. Get involved in floral crafts, view some stunning floral displays and shop at brilliant gardening stalls. If history is more your thing, why not step back in time at The Commandery this Saturday as it is transformed back into the Middle Ages, as The Hospital of St Wultan, with lots of demonstrations, food and music from the period, you might just forget it’s 2019!

For the art and craft fanatics out there, there is plenty going on this bank holiday weekend! There is a few chances left to see the exhibitions in the Cathedral and The Hive and a new exhibition in the Art House. But the artwork isn’t confined to buildings this Saturday, an exhibition of photographs will form a temporary gallery in Cathedral Square in a photo flash mob, catch them from 11.55am!
The Royal Porcelain Works are joining in with the creative vibes, hosting an Arts and Performance weekend, with a plethora of beautiful items on display and artist creating pieces before your very eyes, and they are not the only ones who have creative people a plenty, The Fold is also playing host the creative types from Worcester Etsy Open Studios.

There is an abundance of music in the air as we near the end of this year’s fabulous Festival. Marching off down the high street are the World Champion Marching Band, Melton Mowbray Toy Soldiers find them at 11am and 1pm. Why not unlimit your voice down at The Royal Porcelain Works with the talented Voices Unlimited or jazz up your evening with Sauce City Jazz band, or if you’d prefer to get more hands on why not pop into Try the Horn Day 2019 and learn how to handle the French Horn!

Creatures of all shapes and sizes are welcome to cross the threshold of Worcester Cathedral with their owners on Sunday when a special Pet Blessing Service will be held to celebrate our beloved animals and remember those who are no longer with us.

Finally why not take in the views of our beautiful city and spend some time with the family at this year’s Fort Fest! There will be all sorts of activities and refreshments available and will truly be the perfect way to wind down and celebrate one of the busiest, most successful festivals to date!
