Event Details
The Worcester Festival is always happy to support eco projects, such as the current Canal and River Trust Plastic Challenge.
Here’s what you do. Any time during the Worcester Festival, take a peaceful walk along a river or canal near you and enjoy it’s beauty, take a bag with you, and for one hour of your walk, pick up any plastic that you find and take home with you to dispose of in your recycling bin to help the wildlife and environment.
If you would like to, take a photo of you and the plastic you have picked up and email it to [email protected]. We will give a peacock cuddly toy to the three best photos!
By entering, you automatically give us permission for your photograph to be displayed on The Worcester Festival website and social media, and in the Worcester News. Entries must be submitted by 1st September at 12 noon.
This event, like many in this year’s Worcester Festival is free! To help us keep providing a jam-packed Worcester Festival with many free family events, click here to donate through our JustGiving page!
