Event Details

During this session, children will have the opportunity to build and paint a bird box, which will be installed on Diglis Island for our feathered friends. There may also be an opportunity to spot some of the birds that call the island home.

This activity is suitable for adults and children over 6 years of age. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Staff will be present to provide guidance and assistance, however, due to social distancing requirements, accompanying adults must be willing and able to assist children with construction of the boxes.
All tools and equipment will be sanitised prior to the session and social distancing procedures will be followed. Hand sanitiser will be provided. If you wish to wear fabric gloves during the activity, please provide your own.

This event is being run by Unlocking the Severn as part of Worcester Festival. Pre-booking is essential as spaces are limited. For more information please contact Unlocking the Severn Volunteering Officer, Rachel Davies, on: [email protected]
