The Melton Mowbray Toy Soldiers Band takes members from as young as nine, teaches them to march, then to play a musical instrument of their choice, and then to march and play at the same time! The band has won numerous competitions over the years culminating in winning the World Championship for Marching Bands held in the Isle of Man, and has performed throughout the UK as well as in the USA and Germany.
