Event Details

Queen Elizabeth House is one of the oldest and most interesting buildings in Worcester. In 1575, Queen Elizabeth I visited Worcester and addressed the population from its balcony.

Another interesting fact is that the building was moved 1891 from over the road and nobody seems to know why! Queen Elizabeth House is now the headquarters of the Worcester Festival.

Come and have a look inside!

Social distancing rules will be in place, and there are no toilet facilities. There are very low ceilings and uneven surfaces, so care must be taken at all times. There are only three main rooms so a walk round will not take more than ten minutes. There is no disabled access.

This event, like many in this year’s Worcester Festival is free! To help us keep providing a jam-packed Worcester Festival with many free family events, click here to donate through our JustGiving page!
