The Commandery – Battle Headquarters 1651

Learn about the politics of the time and how Worcester life was turned upside down as the Charles II Army was billeted at The Commandery in preparation for attack from Oliver Cromwell’s New Model Army. Throughout the day we portray key moments of the preparation for the final act of the Civil War.
