Become a Patron or Sponsor of the Worcester Festival

In August 2019, we staged the 17th Worcester Festival, arguably the most successful ever. There were 504 events, 58 venues and 46 participating organisations.  Over 350 of the events were free at point of contact.

The Festival brings the whole city together with a huge variety of events that cater for people from all walks of life. The free events and quiz trails are a big draw to those with children, especially as the Festival is in the Summer holidays.  On the three Saturday of the Festival we have bands, street theatre, face painting etc., all free at point of contact. Also, not only do we have a number of professional events in the Festival line up but we encourage local organisations and  businesses to register their events and to have free advertising in our festival programme and on our website, providing the event is put on for the Festival or if a regularly-staged event, offers some additionality.

If you would like more information on any of the patronage or sponsorship opportunities available, please do not hesitate to contact the Festival Director, Chris Jaeger, on [email protected]

The Worcester Festival website has over 40,000 hits per year and is the most immediate and up to date source of information regarding all aspects of the Festival in the run up to and during the Festival itself.

This will make it one of the most important and popular methods of marketing for the Festival and an important communication tool with potential visitors – this is a valuable sponsorship, as the website runs for 12 months of the year, not just prior to and during the Festival. The sponsor will receive a prominent advert on the home page of the website, which can include a link to the website of the sponsor. The sponsor will also have the opportunity to have strapline adverts on every page of the Worcester Festival website.

Cost – £1250 for a full year.

Percy the PeacockPercy the Festival mascot has in recent years become an integral and important part of the Festival. Loved by children and families, he probably appears in more photographs in the press and on social media, than any other element of the Festival.

Percy makes over 40 public 30-minute appearances in the High Street during the Festival. He will have the sponsor’s logo front and back as part of his costume, the sponsor will get a prominent advert in the programme (25,000 distribution), and whatever photo opportunities it wishes with Percy.

Cost £1000

Always on the Friday evening before the first Saturday of the Festival, the Festival has a champagne launch in one of the prominent Festival venues. Many of the prominent citizens of Worcester attend, and it is a great networking opportunity.

The Sponsors will have their name on the launch invitation, can have advertising display boards on show, and give out any suitable literature to advertise their product/services. They will be publicly acknowledged on the evening and be listed as Festival sponsors in the brochure.

Cost £500
